A wildfire burning west of Coalinga has grown to 482 acres and is 25% contained as of 12:11 p.m. on Friday, according to CalFire.

The Firestone Fire started Thursday near Highway 198 and Firestone Avenue in Fresno County. The cause remains under investigation.

The same evacuation orders are still in effect for zones P19 and P20, with the same warnings in place for zones P18, P23 and P24.

Officials said no structures are currently threatened, stating they have mitigated structure threats, and there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities.

Crews continue to reinforce and secure control lines and road closure remains in effect at Highway 198 and Firestone Avenue.

More than 400 personnel are assigned to the incident, including 20 engines, six water tenders, two helicopters, two dozers, and six hand crews.

Air tankers from across the state are assisting with fire suppression efforts as conditions permit.
