Fresno Police Search for Homicide Suspect in Dodge Dakota Pickup

An arrest warrant has been issued for the lead suspect in the shooting death of a 39-year-old Fresno man the night of May 28, Fresno police said Tuesday morning.

The suspect is Cristino Paul Rocha, 46, and he was last seen fleeing the homicide scene in a blue 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup, Sgt. Diana Trueba Vega said in a news release.

Officers found Paul Fierro with a gunshot wound to his upper body at about 7 p.m. at Glenn Avenue and Lansing Way. Fierra died 90 minutes later at Community Regional Medical Center.

Anyone with information about Rocha’s whereabouts or the killing is asked to contact homicide detective A. Nieta at (559) 621-2415 or detective M. Berumen at (559) 621-2443. Tipsters can also anonymously contact Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867).
