A large fight on Thursday night in Tulare that left one man hospitalized with a stab wound has led to the arrests of five juveniles and one adult, the Tulare Police Department said in a statement.
The Tulare PD announced Tuesday that the juveniles, ages 14 to 17, face charges for fighting in public, with one also charged with conspiracy to commit a crime.

The only adult arrested, Jason Delatorre, 21, of Tulare, was booked into Tulare County Jail on charges of conspiracy, fighting in public, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The altercation occurred around 7:41 p.m. near K Street and San Joaquin Avenue, prompting calls to police of possible gunfire.

Officers quickly determined no shots were fired and discovered an injured man with a stab wound. The victim’s injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
Detectives confirmed the fight was gang-related and said the suspect responsible for the stabbing has been identified but remains unnamed as the investigation continues.
