Jhonny Leonel Hernandez Jimenez, 19, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Jimenez allegedly contacted a minor female through TikTok and WhatsApp. He drove to her residence in Stratford and convinced her to enter his vehicle. Jimenez reportedly gave the victim candy, which caused her to lose consciousness, authorities said.

Deputies responded to the 20500 block of Main Street. The victim then received medical care for serious injuries resulting from the assault.

Jimenez was found near the 21000 block of 13th Avenue in unincorporated Kings County.

During questioning, he admitted to the assault, investigators said. He was booked into Kings County Jail on multiple charges, including rape, rape of unconscious victim, and lewd acts with a child under 14.
