Noah Devyn Rios, 26, a suspected gang member believed to be responsible for a series of violent crimes, including multiple recent shootings, has been arrested, the Fresno Police Department said Friday in a news release.

Rios, who was released from prison in July 2024 and placed on Post Release Community Supervision, was identified by detectives from the felony assault unit as the suspect in eight separate incidents between July and September.

According to authorities, Rios resumed his violent activities shortly after his release.

Rios is accused of multiple felony counts of shooting at inhabited dwellings, assault with a firearm, criminal threats, and armed robbery.

On Sept. 4, detectives, in coordination with officers from the Adult Compliance Team and the U.S. Marshals Service, served six search warrants related to Rios’ alleged crimes. He was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case while Rios is in Fresno County Jail.
