Nia is a beautiful 6-month-old kitten with a cautious heart and a playful spirit.

She may not be the first to greet you, but don’t let her shy nature fool you. Behind those watchful eyes is a fun-loving soul who enjoys chasing toys, playing with her siblings, and showing off her zoomies once she’s comfortable.

In addition, Nia gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs. She would benefit from a home with patient adopters who understand that trust is earned, not rushed.

Nia’s Backstory

Nia came into this world after her mother — looking for a safe place to have her kittens — picked a neighborhood home to hide, deliver, and hopefully raise her kittens away from danger. Nia’s mom was TNR’d and her kittens went into one of The Cat House on the Kings foster homes.

All of Nia’s siblings have already been adopted, and we hope it is her turn now.

A quieter home without young children will help her continue building confidence. Watching Nia transform from timid to trusting is a truly rewarding experience for anyone willing to give her the chance.
