Goldenvoice Announces Return of Portola Week With 15-Plus San Francisco Shows

Goldenvoice announced Tuesday the return of Portola Week, a series of more than 15 shows across San Francisco surrounding the fifth edition of the Portola music festival in September.

Portola Week will run Sept. 24-27 at venues throughout the city, with performances and DJ sets from Soulwax, Overmono, Fcukers, Fatboy Slim, 2manydjs, SG Lewis, Chloé Caillet, horsegiirL, VTSS, Channel Tres, JYOTY, Groove Armada, Ben UFO, Parcels, Max Styler, Six Sex, Two Shel,l and others.

The events coincide with the fifth year of Portola, which will take place Sept. 26-27 at Pier 80. Robyn, Dog Blood (Skrillex and Boys Noize), Swedish House Mafia, Zara Larsson, Tiësto, Four Tet, Tove Lo, and Soulwax are among the festival’s headliners.

Despacio Extravaganza at Pier 80

As part of the anniversary celebration, Goldenvoice will hold Portola’s 5th Birthday Despacio Extravaganza at Pier 80 on Friday, Sept. 25, a day before the festival begins.

Despacio, designed by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, David and Stephen Dewaele of 2manydjs and Soulwax, and sound engineer John Klett, is a custom-built sound system intended to create an immersive listening experience. The six-hour event will run from 5 to 11 p.m. and will be limited to 2026 Portola passholders who have attended the festival every year since it began in 2022.

Eligibility will be determined through the email address connected to a Portola AXS FanAccount associated with passes for the festival’s 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions. Eligible passholders may buy up to four tickets.

Fans must purchase their 2026 festival pass by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to qualify, and tickets for the Despacio event will go on sale at noon Wednesday.

Portola Week Schedule

The broader Portola Week schedule begins Thursday, Sept. 24, with Soulwax at The Regency Ballroom and a Black Rave Culture event presented by Program Audio at Club Six.

The Friday, Sept. 25, lineup includes Channel Tres, JYOTY and Gelli Haha at The Regency Ballroom; Six Sex and Femme Jatale b2b Erika at Great American Music Hall; a DJ set from 2manydjs with Rory Phillips at 1015; Sam Alfred and Skiis at Monarch; and a Neil Frances DJ set at 888 Garage.

Events continue Saturday, Sept. 26, with Fcukers, Chloé Caillet and others at Public Works; Groove Armada at The Great Northern; Max Styler and Airwolf Paradise at Audio Nightclub; Parcels and Velvet Trip at The Regency Ballroom; and jigitz and Clearcast at Monarch.

The final day includes an Overmono DJ set, Ben UFO and others at Public Works; horsegiirL, VTSS, Two Shell and others at The Midway; SG Lewis and Puffie at The Great Northern; Fatboy Slim at 888 Garage; Azzecca at Audio; JT and Naisha at Rickshaw Stop; and Silva Bumpa, Dean Turnley and Buck Wilson at Monarch.
