More than 100 firearms, about 55,000 rounds of ammunition, two silencers and 15 unserialized AR-15 lower receivers were seized during the execution of a search warrant in Strathmore tied to an ongoing assault investigation, authorities said.

The Tulare County Agencies Regional Gun Violence Enforcement Team, known as TARGET, served the warrant Tuesday at a residence on Road 232 as part of an assault investigation being conducted by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, according to the Visalia Police Department.

Investigators also found evidence consistent with the manufacture of unserialized firearms, authorities said.

Officials said the owner of the residence and firearms is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms because of a restraining order issued by the Tulare County Superior Court.
