A power outage affected 2,710 PG&E customers in Madera on Tuesday, according to PG&E’s website.

PG&E reported the unplanned outage at 11:31 a.m. and said crews were working to restore service while evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs.

As of 1:59 p.m., power remained out, with restoration estimated by 3 p.m., according to PG&E’s outage tracker. The cause of the outage was under investigation.
