Thousands of users reported problems accessing several Meta platforms Wednesday morning, according to the outage-tracking website Downdetector.

As of 7:54 a.m. PT, more than 6,000 users had reported issues with Instagram, making it the most affected Meta platform.

Facebook Messenger also experienced widespread problems, with more than 3,000 user reports. Facebook had nearly 2,000 reported outages as of the same time.

Downdetector tracks service disruptions by collecting reports submitted by users. The cause of the reported outages was not immediately clear.
