Fresno County Wildfire Burns 67 Acres, Destroys One Structure

A wildfire that broke out in Fresno County earlier this week destroyed one structure before firefighters fully contained it, CalFire reported Wednesday.

The blaze, named the North Fire, was reported at 2:34 p.m. Tuesday along Temperance Avenue between North and Central avenues, according to CalFire.

By Wednesday morning, the fire had burned 67 acres and was listed at 100% containment.

Officials said the incident remains active and the cause is under investigation.

No injuries or fatalities among civilians or firefighters were reported.
