Fresno Mission invites families and community members to enjoy a fun-filled event with activities for all ages, designed for families to enjoy quality time together.

“This event is all about bringing joy to our families and creating a space where our community can come together,” said Fresno Mission’s Barbara Stroude. “We’re grateful for our partners who help make moments like this possible.”

The Saturday event, hosted in partnership with the Rotary Club of Community Action, will center around the “Battle of the Mascots.” Local college and team mascots will go head-to-head in a lively soccer match.

Participating Mascots

TIME-OUT from Fresno State, Sam the Ram from Fresno City College, Parker from Fresno Grizzlies, Sunny the Sunbird from Fresno Pacific, Maddie the Mountain Lion from Madera Community College, Toro from Clovis Community College, and Clyde from Reedley College will participate in the match.

Alongside the soccer match, there will be face painting booths and activities for children.

The event is especially meaningful for children and families, served through the Fresno Mission’s Family Center, a news  release states.

The event will take place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City Center, 2025 E Dakota Ave., in Fresno.
