Reddit Down for Thousands of Users Monday, Downdetector Shows

Reddit is experiencing a possible outage Monday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 9,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 11:52 a.m. PDT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with the mobile application and website.

Reddit’s status checker says, “Investigating – We’re experiencing an elevated level of errors and are currently looking into the issue.”

Update at 11:59 a.m.

More than 14,000 users have now reported an issue with the platform.

The status checker now reports, “The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.”

Update at 12:04 p.m.

Nearly 20,000 users have now reported an issue with Reddit.

The platform’s status checker now says, “A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.”
