An overturned semi-truck hauling two grain trailers caused major traffic delays Thursday on southbound Highway 99 just south of Yosemite Avenue, authorities said.
The crash was reported at about 10:38 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol in Stockton.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, where recovery and cleanup efforts were underway, authorities said.
Traffic was reduced to one lane between Yosemite Avenue and Highway 120 westbound, creating significant congestion in the area.
Motorists were advised to expect delays and use alternate routes while crews worked to clear the roadway.
