Fresno police arrested a 36-year-old man Tuesday after he allegedly threatened a person with a knife and a police badge while harassing juveniles on a bus.
Officers were dispatched to Shaw and Blackstone avenues in Fresno following reports of a man brandishing a knife, police told GV Wire. When they arrived, they located a suspect matching the description.
According to police, the reporting party said the suspect had been bothering minors on the bus. The victim told officers that when confronted, the suspect pulled a knife and a badge and threatened to kill them, swinging the knife several times.
Police said the suspect was ordered to get on the ground, but while being detained, he reached into his pockets, raising safety concerns after officers were unable to locate the knife. The suspect then spat at officers and punched one in the face, reportedly saying, “I will f—ing fight you.”
Christopher Allan Bull, 36, was arrested on multiple charges, including felony assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor battery, and impersonating a peace officer.
