The Fresno Grizzlies announced Thursday that Andrew Milios will become the team’s new general manager after nearly 18 years with the organization.
Milios joined the team in 2008 as an inside sales representative and worked his way through multiple departments. He has overseen ticket sales, guided the corporate partnerships department, and helped manage day-to-day operations. He has served as assistant general manager since the 2019 season, the team said in a statement.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to lead our incredible staff as we gear up for the 2026 season,” Milios said. “I can confidently say that our team is set up for success, and I look forward to continuing to bring the best in affordable family fun and entertainment to the Central Valley.”
The appointment comes as the Grizzlies prepare for their 25th season in downtown Fresno.
Former President Franks Praises Team’s Choice
Derek Franks, the team’s former president, praised his successor’s dedication to the organization.
“There is, without a doubt, no one better to lead this team into the next era of Grizzlies baseball,” Franks said. “Andrew’s passion for Grizzlies baseball is unrivaled, and I am excited to cheer him and the team on as they take on the new season.”
Franks left the Grizzlies on Feb. 27 and will be the Chief Operating Officer for Lee’s Air, Heating & Plumbing.
A statement from Diamond Baseball Holdings, which owns the club, also expressed confidence in the new general manager.
“Andrew’s journey with the Grizzlies is a testament to his commitment and leadership,” ownership said. “We are confident that with Andrew at the helm, the Grizzlies will continue to build on their strong foundation and deliver outstanding experiences for fans throughout the Central Valley.”
The Grizzlies’ home schedule opens April 7 at Chukchansi Park. Tickets are available at FresnoGrizzlies.com or the Chukchansi Park ticket office.
