Emergency crews were working Wednesday morning to rescue a person trapped inside a truck after it crashed into a power pole in rural Tulare County.

The crash happened on Avenue 320 between Road 92 and Road 80, according to the Tulare County Fire Department.

Fire officials said the crash involved a single passenger truck and a power pole. One person was inside the vehicle, and emergency responders were extricating the driver.

Authorities urged drivers to avoid the area while crews remained at the scene.
