As painful as it was, Matthew Stafford isn’t worried about where the Los Angeles Rams turn after Sunday’s 33-26 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Rams had every chance to beat the reigning Super Bowl champions in Philadelphia, but they blew a 19-point lead and allowed 26 unanswered points in the second half.

The Rams led 26-7 at halftime, but didn’t score in the second half.

The easy thing to do is blame the loss on Joshua Karty’s two blocked field goals but Stafford says there are other plays that led to the Rams’ demise – including some mistakes he made.

“Learn from it,” Stafford said of what the Rams can do now. “There’s so many other plays in this game that we can learn from and be better. First and foremost, myself. Disappointed with how I threw it in some instances today. Just go back to it, continue to work hard and know that what you’re doing and the process that we’re doing is the right thing and find ways to win games.”

Next Up for Rams: 3-0 Colts

The flight home will undoubtedly be a tough one but he’s confident in the guys the Rams have in the locker room.

Stafford said he has “no concerns” that they’ll respond the right way, borrowing a page from coach Sean McVay’s book.

“I’ve got no questions or concerns about how we’ll respond,” he added. “Bunch of guys that care about each other, care about doing stuff the right way, understand that our process – you know, trust that process that we have week in and week out going to work. Come with the same mindset, whether we won this game or lost this game. Got another one next week, big-time opponent and got to be ready to go.”

The Rams will welcome the 3-0 Colts to their building on Sunday in what suddenly looks like a difficult matchup. Indianapolis had made things look easy against the Dolphins, Broncos and Titans this season, and the Rams must regroup quickly.
