A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing earlier this month, police said.
Officers responded to Orchard and Grant avenues in southwest Fresno on Aug. 19 and found Cecil Deloney, 31, lying in the roadway with a stab wound to his upper body, the Fresno Police Department said in a statement on Wednesday.

Deloney was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
Investigators said Deloney had been chased on foot by several suspects before being assaulted in the street.
Detectives identified Chong Lee, 36, as the suspect responsible for the stabbing.
Lee was arrested Friday by the department’s Street Violence Bureau Tactical Team and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
He was formally charged with murder on Tuesday.
