Fresno police have arrested two Southern California men in connection with a July 21 shooting that left a 33-year-old dead.

Victim
Northwest Policing District officers responded at 6:52 p.m. to a report of a shooting near State and Acacia avenues. Kuvar Kumar died at the scene.
Homicide detectives determined the shooting occurred as Kumar arrived home and was related to an interpersonal conflict. Investigators learned the suspects, who were acquainted with the victim, fled Fresno shortly after the incident.
Detectives identified Krishan Kumar, 24, and Vishal Vishal, 31, both from Southern California, as the suspects.
On Thursday, coordinated search warrants were executed in Bakersfield and Victorville, involving Bakersfield Violent Crime Apprehension Team, SWAT, California Highway Patrol units, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division.
Both suspects were taken into custody, and firearms were recovered.
