Micky MaKenzie may be small, but he’s not one to back down from the big dogs.

The spunky pup, described as “super sweet with a mind of his own,” has earned a reputation in his foster home as both playful and bold — the kind of dog who will correct a rambunctious puppy and then chase him around the yard.

Micky loves lap time, belly rubs and morning play before settling inside, where he’s happiest. He’s polite on walks, good in the car, and has learned to share a crate with his best buddy Sunny.

His foster says he’s nearly perfect in the house — aside from one “leg lift” incident.

Recently, Micky underwent surgery to remove a birthmark from his head.

Now fully recovered, he’s ready to meet his forever family.
