Authorities have arrested one suspect and are searching for another in connection with a shooting that injured a man in Ivanhoe earlier this week, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded to the 33000 block of Road 159 on Monday evening after receiving reports of a shooting. They found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, authorities said.

Detectives later identified two suspects: Rigoberto Lopez, 32, and Sotero Flores, 47, both of Ivanhoe.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested Flores in Ivanhoe on a charge of attempted murder.

Lopez remains at large.
