Meet Trixie, a sweet and resilient young mom who’s ready to find her forever home! Before even turning 1, she lovingly cared for her baby kittens, always attentive and protective.
Now that her mothering days are behind her, she’s looking for a home where she can relax and be pampered. Trixie loves head scratches, enjoys wet food, and is a pro at taking cozy naps.
One-year-old Trixie was a part of a growing colony of cats that were working together to survive without caretakers near the intersection of two highly traveled thoroughfares.
Protecting New Mama and Kittens
She was captured moments before giving birth to a litter of seven kittens! Immediately after being brought to The Cat House on the Kings she went to an experienced foster home to be safe, sound, fed, and provided for so that she could properly care for her large litter of cuties.
While she’s great with children, she prefers a home without other cats or dogs. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and beautiful companion to share your space with, Trixie could be the perfect fit! We need more voices for the moms during kitten season so that they find homes like their kids do!
How to Adopt Trixie
To adopt Trixie or see other available cats and kittens, visit The Cat House on the Kings.
All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, and litterbox trained. And, 30 days of pet insurance is included with an adoption.
The nonprofit Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center.
