The Windy Fire, which started Monday, has grown to 12 acres in size, CalFire officials reported.

The blaze is burning near Mammoth Pool Road and Mammoth Pool Reservoir in the Sierra National Forest in Madera County.

CalFire has not disclosed the number of personnel responding to the fire but confirmed that containment remains 0%. Firefighters continue to monitor and work to control the fire as conditions allow.

No injuries or evacuations have been reported.

Residents in the area should stay alert for updates and be prepared to follow any evacuation orders if necessary.
