A suspect wanted in connection with a coordinated takedown of Norteno gang members was arrested on Wednesday, after evading authorities for nearly two months, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Jaime Aldaco, a wanted member of the Norteno gang, had been on the run since Nov. 14, 2024, when multiple search and arrest warrants were executed during Operation Royal Flush.

On Wednesday, Kings County investigators located Aldaco at the Hanford Walmart and attempted to arrest him.

Aldaco fled on foot, but was quickly caught after a short chase.

A search of Aldaco’s person revealed a loaded 9mm ghost handgun, several small zip lock bags containing suspected cocaine, and ammunition.

Aldaco is a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms.

He was booked into the Kings County Jail on charges including felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and resisting arrest, along with drug-related offenses, authorities said.
