In a heartwarming display of community support, professional boxer Jose Ramirez and his wife Marisol celebrated the grand opening of KI Salon in northeast Fresno on Saturday.

The luxurious salon, named after their daughters Katalina and Ilaria, represents a dream come true for Marisol, who is passionate about empowering women to look and feel their best. “I feel super excited. I’m relieved that now it’s open. I cannot wait for what the future has in store for me, for this salon, and for the community around us,” expressed Marisol Ramirez at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event drew strong support from Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, who emphasized the importance of small businesses in the community. “Anytime a business opens in Fresno, it’s good for all of us. Small business is the economic engine that drives our community,” noted Mayor Dyer.

Jose Ramirez, who has supported his wife’s vision throughout the journey, shared his enthusiasm for the venture, saying, “We hope to really provide a great service to the community and a good experience.”

The salon, located at 2042 E Copper Ave, Suite 106, is now open for appointments, with stylist Felisa Arreguin joining the team to assist Marisol, who will be taking a brief maternity leave as the couple expects their fourth child.
