Kelon Hennessy White, 28, was booked Thursday, July 21, 2023, on murder and weapons charges.

White’s decision to surrender came three days after police identified him as the prime suspect in the shooting death of Silvano Villa-Fierro, 46, inside an apartment.

Officers and EMS personnel performed life-saving efforts on Villa-Fierro, who was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, White and Villa-Fierro got into a fight inside the apartment before White killed him with a single shot and fled.

White showed up Thursday at the Fresno County Jail, where he was interviewed by homicide detectives and booked on murder and weapons charges, according to a Fresno Police Department news release.
