The Hill reported Thursday that the House Freedom Caucus has voted to remove Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) from its ranks.

The political news website said that Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.), a Freedom Caucus board member, revealed the removal to both Politico and CNN.

“A vote was taken to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House Freedom Caucus for some of the things she’s done,” Harris said.

A spokesperson for the House Freedom Caucus would not confirm whether the group voted to remove Greene, pointing to its policy of confidentiality.

Greene’s office also did not respond to an inquiry on her membership status.

Rift With Rep. Boebert

According to The Hill, Greene’s latest clash with fellow firebrand Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) apparently pushed members to vote to remove her. Harris termed it “the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
