Fresno County sheriff’s detectives hope to advance their investigation into the shooting death of a Parlier youth by releasing surveillance video from that night.

The sheriff’s office says that Anthony Garcia, 15, was shot inside a home on the 800 block of King Street shortly before midnight on June 30, 2022.
The investigation revealed that shots were fired from outside the house. He later died at the hospital in Selma.
What the Video Reveals
Detectives are asking the public to review the surveillance video from Orit Avenue north of King Street. It shows a dark-colored, four-door car drive past at about 11:30 p.m. and two people in hooded sweatshirts walk southbound on Orit. About 15 minutes later, the pair run northbound on Orit back toward the car.
