Need some nice plants to brighten your home or plant in your garden? The Fresno State Horticulture Nursery and the Gibson Farm Market are teaming up for their biggest plant sale of the year on Saturday.
House, succulent, and garden plants will be 25% off in time for spring planting and decorating.
Over 100 varieties of certified organic and conventional vegetables and herbs will be available outside the store at 5368 N. Chestnut Ave.
Annuals, houseplants, perennials, and succulents also will be on sale inside the store. The plants were raised by students at the campus horticulture nursery, and the students will be there to offer plant care tips.
Get Up Early, Sale Is for 5 Hours Only
The sale will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
And if you’re looking for a little wine or some olive oil, the Farm Market has you covered. Select 2017 and 2018 vintages of red, white, and rose wines made by students at the Fresno State Winery are on sale at the store, as are new olive oil products with lemon- and basil-infused flavors. The Miller’s Blend combines all three campus olive oil varieties.
Products of the campus farm, including fresh asparagus, lemons, mandarins, oranges, and strawberries, are in season and for sale at the Farm Market.
