We all know that Clovis is in the heart of the Golden State.
But you can bet that the Clovis Chamber of Commerce and city leaders aren’t complaining about where the travel website onlyinyourstate.com placed it.
That’s because the website has anointed Clovis as “the friendliest town in Northern California.”

Says the website: “Clovis’ population has more than doubled since 1990 and, honestly, it’s easy to see why. There’s simply so much to love about this town. Boasting a nationally acclaimed school district, a low crime rate, and an engaged community, it’s no wonder so many people decide to put down roots here.”
The website also touts the city’s downtown, specialty stores, farmers’ market, biking and hiking trails, and annual events such as the Clovis Rodeo.
“It may be known as ‘the Gateway to the Sierras,’ but Clovis has plenty to offer on its own,” enthuses the website.
Only in Your State touts itself as the “2nd largest travel and information site on the web” with 2 million newsletter subscribers.
