Protesters and police continued facing off on Tuesday night into the early hours of Wednesday morning in D.C.’s “Black House Autonomous Zone” near Black Lives Matter Plaza and the White House.
Videos (click Read More to view) taken around 2:30 and 3 a.m. show several clashes between police and protesters. In some of the videos, seen below, police appear to use pepper spray and flashbangs. At one point, an American flag was set on fire.
Arrests were made, although a specific number is not known at this time.
Protesters say they’re going to continue to occupy the area to have their voices heard.
