WASHINGTON – Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) sent a letter earlier this month to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning him that annexing parts of the West Bank “will result in long-term costs to Israel’s national security and diplomatic relationships.”

Feinstein sent the letter to Netanyahu on May 6, and her office posted it on her website over the weekend. She congratulated the prime minister for forming a unity government, before moving to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

    For 70 years of Palestinian have refused to recognize the Jewish State in any borders. Their objection has never been to the location of Israel’s borders but to her existence in principle. The land of Israel does not belong to the European, Union, the UN, the Gulf States, the Democratic party, or any Palestinian terrorist organization and it is not theirs to give away. After 70 years of resisting her enemies’ relentless attempts at genocide through indescribable suffering, struggle and sacrifice, the Israeli people alone have the right, and have earned the right, to determine their borders.
