Tom Steyer is all over the 2016 election. The president and founder of NextGen Climate has appeared in campaign ads promoting voting as well as Prop 56, the question to raise cigarette taxes. He is known as an environmentalist, putting his money towards causes he believes.

The Bay Area billionaire is reported to have spent $67 million on this election cycle. He talked with GV Wire about his support and addressed (kind of) if he plans to run for governor in 2018. We also talked about his views on Prop 57, the plan to allow “non-violent” felons an easier path to parole and his thoughts on water and farming.
