Candidates Henry Perea and Lee Brand both picked up major endorsements in their bid to become Mayor in the City of Fresno.

Henry Perea was endorsed by Supervisor Debbie Poochigian, who states that “Henry has earned my respect and support for his bipartisan collaboration and leadership and will serve Fresno well as its next mayor,” Poochigian said in a statement released by the Perea campaign.

Lee Brand was endorsed by Mayor Ashley Swearengin at press conference in front of City Hall this morning. The endorsement was not a surprise for many in the community as Lee Brand has helped push through many of the Mayor’s priorities during her two terms in office.
