Kern County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Angela Monroe said someone reported hearing gunshots in Lamont, a farming community of 15,000 people 10 miles southeast of Bakersfield.

Deputies Found All Three Victims Dead

When deputies arrived, Monroe said, they found two men in the car who were not breathing. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The deputies found the body of a third man in a nearby vineyard.

Sheriff’s Office Is Seeking Tips

Monroe said the men were homicide victims. She did not provide suspect information.
The sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information on the case call 661 861-3110.
