The Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Wednesday that the prior night’s face-off between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden showed the need for “additional structure” to the format “to ensure a more orderly discussion.”
It added that it would announce the new measures shortly.
The first showdown between Trump and Biden proved to be a chaotic affair, with both presidential candidates frequently talking over each other and exchanging bitter attacks.
