The California High-Speed Rail Authority announced this week that due to concerns related to the novel coronavirus, the public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Report on the Burbank to Los Angeles Project Section would be extended.
The rail authority is also extending the public comment period for the environmental documents on the San Francisco to San Jose Project Section.
If there are no good fairy tales on Netflix this evening, and you like that kind of thing, you can see the documents online at MeetHSRNorCal.org and MeetHSRSoCal.org. However, if your taste leans more toward reality shows, stay away from the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Viewing its website is like watching a self-esteem convention. There’s no hard-hitting reality-show judge to react to the presentations with the harsh but accurate assessment that it’s just not happening.
