A Visalia man was convicted Thursday of 15 felony child molestation charges stemming from crimes against six young victims over a 10 year period.
Jurors in Tulare County Superior Court found Oracio Reyes, 37, guilty of fifteen counts of committing a lewd act on a child under 14, and three counts of oral copulation on a child 10 years old or younger, according to a news release from the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office.
Faces Possible Life Sentence
Prosecutors say Reyes faces a sentence of 340 years to life in state prison for the crimes. He will return to court in August for sentencing.
The ages of Reyes’ six female victims ranged from 6 to 13 years old. The crimes were committed from 2006 to 2016 in Tulare County.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Kelly Habroun of the Crimes Against Children Division and investigated by Det. Henry Martinez of the Visalia Police Department.
