A woman charged with vandalizing the Bakersfield Police Department’s Fallen Officers Memorial during a protest last year was sentenced to 120 days in jail on Tuesday.
Jaqueline Hernandez pleaded no contest to defacing a law enforcement memorial, a felony.
The memorial was vandalized during a May 29 protest in Bakersfield following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers.
