The big shows are returning to the Save Mart Center. In just a two-week period, pop stars Pitbull/Iggy Azalea, crooner Michel Bublé, comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, and WWE wrestling come to Fresno.

Starting with the Pitbull/Azalea show on Saturday, all attendees must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test, an SMC official said.

The new rules are to meet state and county health guidelines for indoor events with 1,000 or more people.

“We will have extra staff on hand to help facilitate the checkpoint areas that will be set up outside the arena. We encourage ticket holders to please arrive at least an hour before the event to ensure timely entrance into the arena,” SMC general manager Sean McElhinney said in a news statement.

How to Prove Status

Patrons must have had their final vaccine shot (from either the one- or two-shot doses) at least 14 days in advance.

The Save Mart Center said the following documents of proof will be accepted:

— CDC-provided white vaccination card or WHO-provided yellow vaccination card;
— Or a photo of the attendee’s vaccination card as a separate document;
— Or a photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a mobile or electronic device;
— Or documentation of the attendee’s full vaccination status against COVID-19 from a healthcare provider (on a mobile app, paper document, digital wallet card).

Alternately, patrons will need to show proof of a negative PCR or antigen viral test within 72 hours of the event. Acceptable proof includes:

— A printed document (from the test provider or laboratory) showing test result;
— Or an electronic test result (email, text message, or mobile application record) displayed on the attendee’s phone or mobile device.

The state Department of Health said the guidelines are in effect through Nov. 1. Masks are required for unvaccinated patrons. Guidelines are only recommended for outdoor events with likely attendance of 10,000 or more.
