A 20-year-old Fresno man was killed Tuesday following a car-to-car shooting in the Los Angeles area, officials said.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department who responded to a report of gunfire in Venice found a vehicle riddled with bullet holes. The victim, later identified as Lucas Zamora, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, television station Fox11 reported.

Zamora was able to drive away from the shooting, but crashed into a building a short distance away, the station said.

Police have made no arrests and the LAPD is asking anyone with information to contact them.
