Newsom Warns Biden, California Could 'Break' With Flood of Illegal Migrants When Title 42 Expires

In an interview with ABC News on Monday, Gov. Gavin Newsom said President Joe Biden’s border policies are ‘not working’ and says the White House must take ‘responsibility and ownership’. He warns ending Title 42 could “break” his state.

Biden plans to end Title 42, a Trump era policy which allows police and border officers to expedite the expulsion of illegal immigrants.

Newsom’s comments come as a surprise after years of backing policies to expand protections to illegal migrants entering California.
