A 35-year-old Modesto man who was a Hells Angels prospect pleaded guilty Monday to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced in a news release.
According to court documents, Michael Pack, 35, was part of a drug trafficking conspiracy led by Modesto Hells Angels President Randy Picchi. The drug conspiracy involved Picchi’s wife, Tina Picchi, Michael Mize, and Michael Pack.
Randy Picchi directed Tina Picchi to regularly deliver drugs to Mize and other individuals in Ceres. Randy Picchi also enlisted Pack to help obtain methamphetamine on at least one occasion. Pack was stopped by law enforcement and found with about 500 grams of meth in his possession, the Department of Justice said.
Sentencing Set for May 23
Pack is scheduled for sentencing on May 23 by U.S. District Judge Dale A. Drozd in Fresno. He faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ross Pearson and Laurel Montoya are prosecuting the case.
Earlier this month, Modesto Hells Angeles vice president Michael Shafer, 34, of Modesto, received a five-year prison sentence for his part in a drug-trafficking conspiracy involving heroin and marijuana.
