Bomb Threat Prompts Sweeps at Fowler Schools

A reported bomb threat at Fowler High School on Friday was determined to be a spoof call, according to the Fowler Police Department.

Fresno County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received the call reporting the threat, prompting an immediate response from officers.

Out of an abundance of caution, officers conducted a sweep of the high school campus, police said. Police also checked the remaining schools in Fowler to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

Authorities confirmed there is no threat to any of the schools at this time.
