A traffic stop in resulted in the recovery of a concealed, unregistered, loaded firearm, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Fresno office.

Authorities said the firearm was discovered during the stop.

In a statement, CHP officials warned about the dangers of carrying illegal weapons.

“One bad decision can change your life in more ways than one,” the agency said. “Illegal choices put our communities at risk and oftentimes worse consequences.”
