A 72-year-old pedestrian struck in a collision on Saturday has died from her injuries, the Madera Police Department reported on Wednesday.

The department extended condolences to the victim’s family and loved ones, calling the incident a tragic reminder of the importance of safe driving.

Officials urged drivers to remain attentive, slow down, and watch for pedestrians, bicyclists, and other motorists.
