A traffic stop in Visalia on Sunday led to the arrest of a man and the seizure of multiple loaded firearms, police said.

Just after 1:45 p.m., a Visalia Police Department officer stopped a vehicle on Leslie Street, north of Goshen Avenue, for a window tint violation. Police said the driver, identified as Allen Panyavong, repeatedly refused commands to exit the vehicle before eventually complying.

Panyavong was taken into custody for resisting a police officer, police said.

The vehicle was towed, and an inventory search uncovered a loaded Sig P365, a loaded Glock 26, and a 31-round Glock magazine inside the glove box, according to police.

Panyavong was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on charges of carrying a concealed firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a large-capacity magazine and resisting an officer, police said.
