A teenage girl was hospitalized following a traffic collision Friday morning at Minnewawa and Shepherd avenues, the Clovis Police Department reported.

Officers responded to the scene at 9:30 a.m. Southbound Minnewawa Avenue was closed south of Shepherd Avenue as emergency crews worked.

The driver of a semi-truck remained at the scene, and the department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
