The California Department of Transportation will conduct asphalt pavement maintenance operations at multiple locations along Highway 99 in Fresno County next week, resulting in temporary lane and ramp closures.
On Tuesday, Jan. 20, the southbound Highway 99 off-ramp at Floral Avenue will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for pavement repairs.
Work will continue Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., when the far left lane along southbound Highway 99 from just south of Church Avenue to just south of Jensen Avenue will be closed.
On Thursday, Jan. 22, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., the southbound Highway 99 off-ramp at Belmont Avenue will be closed for pavement repairs.
The final scheduled closure is Friday, Jan. 23, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., when the far right lane along northbound Highway 99 from just south of American Avenue to just north of American Avenue will be closed.
Caltrans said closures may last longer if weather or other uncontrollable events cause delays. All work is scheduled to occur weather permitting, Caltrans said.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution, allow extra travel time and remain alert for road maintenance crews and posted warnings to slow through construction zones.
